About Kick Start Martial Arts

Combating the stereotypes of martial arts, we emphasize that martial arts actually helps teach self-discipline and socialization skills. In fact, many of the parents of my students who have attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) and Autism report improvements in their children's self-control and concentration. My students learn respect, whether from bowing or standing still and waiting for the next command, which can be the most important benefit. Parent have told me that this benefit carries over into school, helping to improve behavior and even grades.

If you have not signed up for one of my classes, now is a perfect time.
